We are a friendly organic gardening group, growing herbs, fruit and vegetables for our local community.

The WCFP has been closed to the public since March 2020, when we decided to concentrate the efforts of our members into the production of as much fruit and vegetables as possible for our local food banks and kitchens, whilst adhering to social distancing guidelines.
We run work sessions for members on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday, from 1pm – 5pm.
Other one-off events have recently included apple juicing, bee-keeping, jam and chutney making sessions.
If you would like to become a member please get in touch using the link above.
The WCFP has been supporting The Vale Food Kitchen, The Edge – Craven Vale Food Bank and the recently closed Bristol Estate Food Kitchen.
Also in collaboration with the Sussex Gleaning Network, we will continue to collect and distribute our produce and that of neighbouring allotments to the East Brighton Food Co-op, Sussex Homeless Support, the Real Junk Food Project and The Bevy Food Co-op.

What We Do

We produce organic fruit and vegetables for our local community food banks and for our volunteer gardeners.

At the moment we are particularly abundant with apples!

We try to involve children and adults in planting, growing and eating healthy food, as a way of connecting to nature and the environment.
